Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) was established with the aim of making a commission fully responsible for making the recruitment for the government posts in the state. The main objective of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission is to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state. The state of Jharkhand came into existence in the year 2000 after carving out 18 districts of Bihar state. The commission was formed under the provisions of the Arctile 315 of the Constitution of India.

Job Profile:

Jharkhand Public Service Commission is going to conduct Competitive Written Examination and Personal Interview Test for making recruitment of Junior Engineers in various ministeries or departments under Government of Jharkhand. Only eligible Indian Citizens are invited to apply for the specified position.

1. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil):
Posts Available: 1012 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

2. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
Posts Available: 122 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Junior Engineer (Electrical):
Posts Available: 19 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Eligibility:

All interested candidates are required to strictly follow the age criteria set for the posts of Junior Engineer.

The minimum age limit set for the post of Junior Engineer is 23 years.
The minimum age limit set for the post of Junior Engineer is 35 years.

Relaxation in the upper age limit may be provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes etc.

Application Fee:

Candidates must pay or submit the prescribed amount of application fee before applying for the specified vacant positions. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 400 only. SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 200 only. No application fee is need to be paid by the Physically Handicapped candidates. The application fee must be deposited through challan form inb any branch of State bank of India in Account No. 32214212734.
