Karnataka Examination authority carries out Karnataka Common Entrance Test in order to admit the eligible candidates for the graduate course in Ayurveda. The candidates those who clear the written test are eligible for an admission to the Ayurveda course. This examination is conducted only for the students those who belong to the state of karnataka.

Structure of Karnataka CET for Ayurveda

The question paper is designed in an objective type multiple choice manner. There is negative marking for every wrong answer. The examination is divided into three papers. They are:

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should possess a pass in the 12th standard board examination that has been conducted by the Karnataka University. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the optional objects with English as one of the languages. They should also hold a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, put together. The minimum eligibility for SC/ST candidates is 40% marks for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

How to Apply?

The candidates can obtain the application forms from the schools/colleges located in the state of Karnataka in which the students are pursuing their higher secondary education. Application forms can be obtained by paying an amount of Rs 650/- as demand draft. The demand draft has to be drawn in favor of the executive director, Karnataka examinations authority, Bangalore and it should be payable at Bangalore. The SC/ST candidates need to pay only an amount of Rs 500/- for the procurement of application form.
