Karnataka is one of the states in India, which is blooming with a rapid and vigorous rate. With the rapid development in the state, the education department of the state is also getting very popular. That is why; more and more colleges are being opened in the state offering various high level high standard questions. That is the reason that more and more students are drafting towards the colleges in the state. To arrange a fair opportunity to all the aspiring candidates, the state government has set up KEA.
KEA stands for Karnataka Examination Authority, and it functions as a governing body for admission in the various undergraduate courses in Karnataka. The way of admitting students is CET, which stands for common entrance test. This examination is open on a national level and thus requires a special body to monitor it.
Karnataka Examination Authority is invites all the aspiring candidates for admission into Under Graduate courses conducted by the Karnataka Government under the Examination of CET. Eligible candidates have to appear in CET examination conducted for the students to get admission in first year. Karnataka state Government is approved by the Government of India for providing such education programs under the Professional Education institutions in the state of Karnataka.
Karnataka Examination Authority is one of the leading organizations that are responsible for holding different entrance exam for admission purpose in different courses in various colleges across the state. The organization has critical role to play in these area and therefore are responsible for the overall admission purposes in different Professional Educational Institutes. The candidates that will be selected for the following course have to fulfill different criterion before they can appear for the entrance exam. The organization has made critical adjustment and provided valuable contribution to the admission process in the state. The admission test that is organized by the authorities of these institutes is of fine standard and that they act as a barrier that helps separate the superiors from the inferior.

Eligibility Criteria:
The aspiring candidates must be above 17 years of age and should have passed 10 + 2 from a recognized educational board of India. The aggregate percentage should be above 50% in 10 + 2. Those aspiring for Medical / Dental/ Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga / Courses must have biology physics and Chemistry along with English as their main subject in 10 +2 level. Also they should have secured at least 50% in these subjects to be eligible for these courses.
Those willing to be a part of engineering course must have physics Chemistry and mathematics as their main subject in the 10 + 2 level. Also they should have English and should have secured above 50 % in aggregate and in PCM.
• 5 % relaxation is given to SC / ST students for admission into this reputed course.
• For Architecture courses candidate have to appear in NATA test and must obtain minimum of 50 % aggregate to fulfill the eligibility criteria. The candidates that want to take admission test must be a citizen of India and should be of sound mental and physical condition. The candidates should also not hold any criminal charge at what so ever level. Any candidate that does not belong to the State board has to submit their board certificates at the time of final admission in front of the officials.

Sir my name is Jaithirth i have studied up to 10th in Karanataka and i got 60% now am studying PUC in Andrapradesh i want to write the CET exam in Karanataka. if am able to write the exam then how can i apply to the exam and when is the last date to apply for the exam.
My daughter has studied in CBSE syllabus (XI and XII) in Indian International School, Singapore. I have done (Father) my complete study for 16 years in Karnataka and born there. My questions towards “Engineering”:
1) Whether my daughter is eigible for CET entrance and Govt seats?
