KEE 2011 LLB(5 Year)
Kerala Entrance Exam, a yearly based exam for LLB (5 year), is for the candidates who have passed 10+2 and want to pursue a career in law. KEE LLB (5 year) is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE). Only the candidates from Kerala can appear for KEE. Of the five year full time regular course last 6 months will include regular course of practical training. The candidates appearing for this exam need to fill and submit the dully filled application form at the campus office. The entrance exam includes short and multiple type questions. Students have to be very conscious while marking up the answers.
Institutes under this examination:
Through KEE LLB (5 year) candidates can get admission in to the Government law colleges in Kerala which offer 5 year LLB course. There are four Government Law Colleges in Kerala: Thiruvananthpuram, Ernakulum, Thrissur and Kozhikode. All these Government Law Colleges have 80 seats each for LLB (5 year). These colleges also offer other courses related to the fields of law in different levels. These colleges have well maintained and arranged campus with state of art infrastructures. The various government colleges of Kerala offering law courses are getting very good response from the students every year. A large number of forms are distributed every year for the aspirants.
Popularity of the exam:
Students only from this sate can give this entrance exam. As the seats are fixed for each course, students have to work hard to get their desired course. The students have to secure high marks in the Kerala Entrance Exam and have to sit for a counseling program for selecting the college. A large number of students from all over Kerala appear for KEE LLB Entrance.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate should be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin. Also a candidate should have passed 10+2(or appearing/Result waited) with a minimum of 40% marks aggregate (35% for SC/ST). Also a candidate should be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2011. There is no upper age limit
Availability of Application Forms for KEE LLB (3 Year):
The application form for KEE LLB (5 year) will be available through the website www.cee-kerala.org. There will be separate forms for General and SC/ST candidates. Payment for the application fee can be done by submitting the fee in State Bank of Travancore or through a demand draft.
Important Dates (Tentative):
Date of Entrance Examination: first week of July, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: mid week of June, 2011
Pattern of Examination:
The entrance test will be of 3 hours duration and will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. The Questions will be divided as follows:
General Knowledge(65 questions)
English(65 questions)
Legal Aptitude(70 questions)
The candidates earn 3 marks for every correct answer they give and their i marks is deducted for giving a wrong answer.
