English is one of the important languages in the current time. It is more important as a language than as a subject. Most of the countries use this language for communication between them. The main reason to provide this as a subject is to test the communication and writing skill of student in this subject.
Importance of the paper:
English is 2nd highest spoken language and it has a huge role in present world, especially in our country where it is considered as an extra quality. Good communication skills mean that you will get your success earlier than others.
Paper Pattern:
Paper consist of 8 questions in it, each question carries different marks. These questions are divided as 3 sections; Section A is of 2 questions on the literature part, Section B is of 2 questions on grammar and Section B is of 4 questions on communication skills. There are questions on unseen passages, precise writing etc.
Frequently asked questions:
Questions in the paper are asked such as Precise Writing, Unseen passage, synonyms, antonyms, making sentences, parts of speech, active & passive voice, fill in the blanks, applying a company, making paragraph etc. One Section is based on the questions of text book. These questions are asked as short answer type mostly.
Tips for the paper:
Student should give emphasis on their communication skill and this grammatical errors to get maximum marks in the paper.
Marks and time:
Total marks given to the paper are 80 and time given to solve the paper is 3 hours only. Student can score full marks in it if they have good command in the language.
