The Kuvempu University is one of the foremost institutes of the south imparting education in many fields of science and commerce. The field of business management is a very intense one and involves a rigorous study plan. It is one of the most sought after branches in the country and is a very competitive one indeed. The paper is based on the entire curriculum. The candidates might even feel the paper to be difficult but with a little understanding it can be simplified the whole lot.

Importance of the paper

The Kuvempu University BBM Second Year-IBE and SBM Papers are largely based on the syllabus prescribed by the university. It stresses a lot at the innovative skills of the student since the branch of business management requires the student to be keen observant of the market as they are subject to changes on a daily basis. Thus the paper largely deals with the question that tests the innovative skills of the candidate in predicting the market trends and ensure that the risks taken by any small business venture is fruitful otherwise they might close down.

Format

The whole paper is of 70 marks and the marks allotted for each question are indicated in the brackets against them.

Paper pattern

The paper consists of the three parts and in the first part two need to answer which are of five marks each. In the next section three need to be answered which are of 10 marks each. In the last section the candidate needs to answer any two questions again which are of 15 marks each.

Marking

There are no negative marks awarded. The candidate is expected to write the answers to the point in a simplified manner to score the most.
