Land Surveyor - Department of Survey Settlement & Land Records, Government of Karnataka
Karnataka Survey Settlement and Land Records Department shortly called as SSLR, Karnataka is an important government agency belonging to the state of Karnataka. The department decides land use policy and manage all government owned lands in the state and collects basic taxes.
Recruitment by SSLR, Karnataka:
SSLR Karnataka invites applications from talented and experienced Indian citizens for the position of land surveyors. Some of the details regarding the notification issued by the department are given below:
Name of the Position: Land Surveyors
Number of Vacancies: 1834
Pay Scale: Rs.6250-125-6500-150-7100-175-7800-200-8600-225-9500-250-10500-300-12000
Eligibility Requirement:
Educational Qualification: For applying to the position of Land Surveyor, candidates must have completed their diploma or degree in civil engineering after completion of PUC/12th standard with not less than 60% of marks in mathematics from the Pre-University Board of the state of Karnataka or ICSE/CBSE. Preference will be given to candidates with experience.
Age Requirement: Candidates must not be more than 35 years of age to apply for the position of Land Surveyor.
Mode of Selection:
Selection of candidates for the position of Land Surveyor will be based on their performance in the written test, which is planned to the held either in the last week of September 2011 or in the first week of October 2011.
Cost of Application:
The cost of Application is Rs.500 (Rs.300 for reserved category candidates).
How to apply:
Candidates will have to apply online through the website of the department at http://sslr.kar.nic.in/ between the 1st of July and 30th of July 2011.
Last date to apply online: 30th of July 2011
Date of written test: Last week of September/first week of October

Wt happen to surveyor department, after we write the surveyor exm no. Of posts are called in kpsc.now selection lists are published.it is too shame to landsurveyor dept and karnataka govt.

What a corruption department of landsurveyor in karnataka.who is the director and selection officers,they are not educated officers just corrupted officer so they should not give any information about this surveyor result.
