Profile:
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) was established on january 25, 1971 under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission consists of one chairman and two members which are appointed by the Governor only.
Job profile:
Candidates can become eligible for the recruitemtn to the posts of Lecturers(College Cadre) in the various subjects.
Eligibility:
Candidates should be bewteen 18 to 40 years of age as on 31 January 2010. Candidates should have atleast 7 years experience in regular teaching in any government high/higher secondary schools.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have Master Degree in any subject with atleast 55% marks from any recognized university. Relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per rules.
No. of posts: Several posts are available depending on the various subjects.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be given the prescribed salary.
Selection process:
Candidates will have to undergo a written examination in the form of HPSC – State Eligibilty Test 2010.
