Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University popularly identified as B.N. Mandal University is located at the state of Bihar in India. The university is a provincial university well-known for the quality of teaching offered by it. It works as affiliating university and offers different graduation, post-graduation and also professional graduation and post-graduation courses through the affiliated colleges situated in Madhepura. It is a part of the Indian Universities Association.

The university was formed in the year 1992 during the month of January and it is still in its teenage. It was established under the Amendment Act 1991 of Bihar State Universities by dividing L.N. Jurisdiction of B.N. Mandal University stretches up to Purnea and Koshi divisions of the state of Bihar and the university is following the academic programs and rules of L.N. Mithila University.
