Lovely Professional University 2011 Engineering
Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducts an admission process for admission to its B.Tech Regular and Integrated programmes. Lovely Professional University is the largest Indian University in terms of students in a single campus. It was established in the recent years by the well renowned Lovely Group. The University has been recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) as an autonomous university. Its campus is 600 acres large and has over 24,000 students. It offers number of professional undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in various fields such as engineering, management, pharmacy, law, architecture and education.
LPU provides undergraduate engineering programmes in two modes: Regular and Honours. Admissions to B.Tech Regular Programmes are done on the basis of AIEEE scores and performance in Class 12th exams. B.Tech Regular Programmes are offered through Lovely School of Engineering/Technology and Lovely Institute of Technology. Candidates can also opt to do Integrated B.Tech+MBA or Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech in 5 years.

Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Mathematics and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/Computer Science/ Bio- Tech. For B.Tech(Hons)- Biotech candidates should have passed with Physics, Chemistry and either Maths/Biology. Also the candidates should have got atleast 55% aggregate marks in their 12th exams. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.
How to Apply:
Candidates can apply online for programmes at LPU through the website www.lpu.in. Candidates can also download the application form through the same website. Those applying online can pay for the examination fee through credit/debit card/online bank transfer. Candidates who download the application form can submit the completed the completed application form along with examination fees in cash/demand draft/pay order directly at the university or send it by post.
