Maharishi Dayanand University was built in the year 1976 and is named after the founder of Arya Samaj and amongst the best social reformers, Swami Dayanand Saraswati. This university started its journey with a mission to provide higher studies in different fields. Over the years this university has been consistently enhancing the education system in the fields of science, arts and commerce.  The university provides both undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students in order to give them a way to make their future. Maharshi Dayanand University is located in an area of 740 acres and is situated 70-km away from National Highway No. 10. The university has its own management Library   with over 10,000 titles, subscribing to 10 dailies and 35 national and international journals. The University offers 27 Post-Graduate departments under 12 Faculties with more than 350 faculty members.

Courses Offered:

The university offers a number of courses to the candidates, which are from the levels of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, PG diploma, M.Phill and P.hd in various streams.

Admission Procedure:

The candidates have to secure high marks in the intermediate or 10+2 exams from any of the recognized board of India. The selection procedure mainly depends upon the marks obtained by the individual. Candidates have to attend a special interview in order to get admission in the various courses.
