Maharshi Dayanand University came into existence through an Act of Haryana Legislative Assembly to encourage higher education in the fields of life sciences, ecological and environmental sciences. The university is located in the city of Rohtak, in the Indian state of Haryana at a distance of about 75 kms from the country’s capital city.

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 47, which is divided among the different departments for which Assistant Professors are required are given below:

Remuneration: Candidates appointed for the position of Assistant Professor in various departments, will be coming under the pay brand of Rs.15600-39100+AGP of Rs.6000.

Candidates can obtain the application form in person from the University Publication Cell on cash payment of Rs.100 from the sales counter, which is Rs.25 for BC/SC candidates belonging to Haryana. To get the application through registered post general category candidates will have to send DD drawn in favor of Finance Officer, M.D.U, Rohtak for an amount of Rs.130 (Rs.55 for BC/SC candidates of Haryana).
