Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited is a Government of India undertaking, which has emerged as a new company in the year 2002. The company holds the pride of having the first factory of its kind in usage of associated natural gas as fundamental raw material for production of nitrogenous fertilizer. The company has two urea and two ammonia plants with a total production capacity of 5.55 lakh MT of Urea per annum.

Period of training: Candidates will be on training for a period of one year

Stipend: Candidates will be coming under the consolidated pay equivalent to 75% of Pay (Basic + DA) per month in the scale of Rs.8600-250-14600 (pre-revised). Remaining 25% of pay (basic + DA) of the first year shall be released in four quarterly installments in the following year on successful completion of training.

Eligibility requirements:

Candidates must possess essential qualification of B.E/B. Tech/PG Degree/MBA/M. Sc (agri)  with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PH candidates in appropriate disciplines from AICTE approved/deemed university/AIU recognized university/UGC recognized autonomous institution. For finance and accounts discipline, candidates must have successfully completed their ICWAI/ICAI examination. Age: To apply for the position of Management Trainees, upper age limit is 30 years as on the 1st of November 2011, a relaxation of five year is applicable for SC/ST candidates, three years is applicable for OBC candidates, 10 years is applicable for PH and 15 years for PH-SC candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in All India Selection Test and only candidates clearing this test will be called for interview.
