Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital(MGMCH) provides MBBS programme for medical aspirants while Mahatma Gandhi Dental College provides BDS course for dental aspirants. In both the programmes admission to 85% seats is through Rajasthan PET which is only for Rajasthan students while admission to 15% seats is through AIPMT which is for All India candidates. Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital was established in the year 2000 by Dr. ML Swaranakar.

MGMCH is approved by Medical Council of India while the dental college is approved by Dental Council of India. Both BDS and MBBS programmes are affiliated from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. The institute is also approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. MG Medical College and Hospital has a very good infrastructure with all the modern facilities. It is the first private recognised medical college in Rajasthan.

Courses offered by the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital:

• MBBS (4 ½ year courses and 1 year Internship) (100 seats)
• BDS (4 ½ year courses and 1 year Internship) (60 seats)

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010.

Candidates can obtain the application form directly from the college or by post by sending a demand draft along with the request for form and a self addressed envelope.
