Admission to M.Phil in Education in Christ University is carried out on the basis of entrance exam and personal interview. The duration of the course is three semesters. Candidates who have completed Post Graduation in Education or in related subjects from a recognized university are eligible to apply. They should have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate in post graduation so as to be eligible. The course structure is designed into three semesters. It provides advanced level of education for teachers, researchers, policy makers and for people involved in professional education. It aims at improving the capacity of prospective and professing the teacher educators. Semester wise syllabus is provided below.

Admission Process for M.Phil in Education in Christ University

Admission to the course is carried out on the basis of entrance examination and personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates can expect questions from the topics such as analytical skills and subject knowledge. Those who have secured the qualification marks in entrance exam will be short listed for personal interview. Questions will be asked to evaluate candidates’ level of knowledge in research methodology. Personal interview will be carried out by expert panel. Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained in qualifying examination, entrance exam, personal interview as well as submission of supporting documents.

Application Procedure

Application form can be downloaded from the official website of the University. Candidates are required to take a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favor of Christ University, Bangalore payable at Bangalore as application fee. They have to affix a passport size photograph in the space provided in application form. Duly filled in application form along with details of fee payment and copies of following documents should be sent to “The Office of Admissions, Christ University, Hosur Road, Bangalore - 560 029”.
