Environmental science is a field where physical and biological science can be integrated to form a complete study pattern about the environment and also find solutions to the problems that affect the environment adversely. Environmental science deals with subject like earth processing, alternate energy evaluation system, management of natural resources, pollution control etcetera. Understanding environment and its importance is very necessary.

Importance

Environmental study is very important to understand the importance of environmental resources and analyse its problems and to provide an effective approach towards solving those problems. Environmental science was given considerable importance because of the need to analyse complex environmental issues, develop environmental regulation protocols and to framing solutions to the problems.

Paper pattern

Net environmental science paper’s pattern is similar to most of the recent examinations conducted these days. There are a total of fifty questions and all the questions are of two marks each. These are multiple choice questions where each question has four options and the candidate is supposed to shade the circle that corresponds to the correct option in the answer sheet. There are no sectional divisions in this paper and all the questions are compulsory.

Time allocation and marks distribution

This paper contains a total of hundred marks since each question is of two marks respectively and the time duration is of one hour fifteen minutes.
