NIT-Warangal 2011 MBA
School of Management National Institute of Technology, Warangal conducts an admission process for its two year MBA programme. NIT-Warangal was established in 1959 and has been a pioneering engineering institute since then. It started providing two year MBA programme in the recent years with great success. NIT-Warangal has a very good infrastructure and facilities for management education. The institute provides very good placement opportunities to its students.
National Institute of Technology, Warangal was the first Regional College that was established in India, and has then since being remarketed as one of the top notch Engineering based Institute in India. The institute has an outstanding campus that spreads over an area of 256 acres or 1.04 square kilometers. The campus is uniquely designed which strikes an ideal balance in between the students recreational centers and students activity centers. The institute offers the following engineering stream in an undergraduate form namely: Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Metallurgical & Material Science Engineering and Biotechnology. Like all the other Deemed Universities in India, the Institute also follows a credit system in order to award merit certificate to the candidates in order to evaluate their academic performance.
Candidates are shortlisted for MBA programme of NIT-Warangal on the basis of their CAT/JMET scores. Candidates have to also apply separately for admission in NIT-Warangal. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in CAT/JMET have to appear in a further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have an engineering bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute with atleast 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in their final year of engineering can also apply.
Availability of Application forms:
The application forms for NIT-Warangal can be downloaded through the website www.nitw.ac.in. Candidates have to send the completed application form along with a demand draft, copies of certain documents and CAT/JMET score card. The candidates who are appearing have to apply certain important documents as per mentioned in the brochure along with a Certificate of Merit signed or attested by the Principal of the last Institute attended and have to be produced to the Principal of NIT, Warangal on or before the last date provided by the concerned authority.

• Last date of submitting completely filled application forms: Mid March, 2011
Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/JMET scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.
