An All India Entrance Exam is conducted by National Law University in Delhi for the selection of candidates for the Post Graduate Diploma courses offering by the University. This University is one of the best law institutes in our country. NLU Delhi conducts this exam for the admission of two courses. Post Graduate Diploma in Judging & Court Management Programme and Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management Programme. The duration of both of these courses is one year. This University provides best infrastructural facilities and education for their students.

Structure and Syllabus of NLU-DELHI PG Diploma

The selection of the candidates for the PG Diploma courses for the entrance exam is done on the basis of their marks in the graduation. The entrance test consists of 100 multiple type questions. The time allotted for the entrance test is one hour. The test is conducted mainly to evaluate the candidates’ basic knowledge in the legal aspects. The questions are asked from the syllabus of their LLB programme. It includes questions from law of contracts, law of Torts, Family law, Criminal Law, Constitutional law, Legal Theory. Those who score good marks in the entrance exam can get the chance for joining the PG diploma Law courses in National Law University in Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

Those who have completed graduation in law with 50% marks can apply for the Post Graduate Diploma in Judging & Court Management programme. The candidates who have completed graduation in any stream can apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management. The age limit for applying for these courses is 30years. SC/ST candidates can apply till at the age of 35 years. Final year students can apply for the test. They should have to complete their studies before the time of admission. The candidates who have all this eligibility requirements can apply for the test.

How to Apply?

The application forms are available on the website www.nludelhi.ac.in. They can download the application form from the website. The applicants can also obtain the application form and exam prospectus through post by sending a request letter and demand draft to the concerned Institute authority.  The demand draft of Rs.1000/- and other documents proving their educational qualification should be forwarded with the completely filled application form.

How to fill the Form?

The candidates have to read all the instructions given in the exam prospectus before filling the form. Any mistakes made in the form leads to the cancellation of the application form and his chance for getting admission. All the columns should be filled in Capital letters using a ball point pen. The fee payment details should be mentioned correctly.  A passport size photograph should be pasted in the form. Attested copies of certificates, four passport size photographs and the demand draft of the application fee in favour of National Law University Registrar should be sent along with the application form. The candidates have to keep a copy of the filled application form for any further clearance. The completed application form should be sent to Registrar, National Law University, and Delhi.

The candidates have to prepare for the exam from the beginning. Then only they can achieve the goal. The students have to develop a deep idea in the areas mentioned in the syllabus. Divide the topics into small sections. Previous question papers are available in the website. Collect those question papers and practice with that. It helps to know about the pattern of the exam and time needed for completing it. Revise each topic at a regular interval of time. Various coaching centres are ready to support the students for achieving their target. Students can make use of all those facilities. This will help them to win the exam.

How and Where To Get the Results?

The list of the selected students will published in the University website www.nludelhi.ac.in. Students have to check the website regularly for getting all information about their admission process.

Score Validity

The exam is conducted by the university each year. So the validity of the score is one year. This score is not enough for getting admission for the next year.
