Northern India Engineering College situated at Delhi is considered to be one of the most renowned institutes of the complete northern India. Courses offered

NIEC offers numerous disciplines of engineering in its academic curriculum. B Tech degree at the undergraduate level is offered in Mechanical & Automation Engineering (60), Electrical Engineering (60), in Electronics & Communication Engineering (60) and Computer Science & Engineering (60).


The college covers a land area of 8 acres in Shashtri Park. It is very near to the New Delhi railway station. The college has most modern laboratories with the internet facility available 24 hours. Admission procedure and Eligibility Criteria

The admissions of the college are made through CET and the counseling is done by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (New Delhi).

The applicants for the admission to the B Tech course must have secured a minimum of 50% marks at their HSE or equivalent level examination from any recognized educational board.

    NIEC is jst not a gud coll.. but all say very poor placements.. n academics.. itz a totally crap college.. it was jst nice in the beginning but now the situations are really worser here… i am a student of 2011 batch.. its better to get into any other coll in watever stream u get then coming to this college…

    The placement of 2010 batch is the poorest of the previous batches.At that time when recesion goes off our T.P.O. Mr. GUPTA do nothing for the students & sit very calmly in his AC room eating nuts,doing what he could except any hardwork for placements of 2010 batch .
    If any one wants the good future of this college ,please takes some steps regarding the placements from this session at least.
    New Students always take the advices(feedback) of their seniors.If we tells them true then no one is willing to take admission in such a bad & bottom rank college among the others in IPuniversity.
    NIEC NEWDELHI has the poorest placement in 2010 among all the colleges in IPUNIVERSITY……..
