Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank was founded as a result of the amalgation of four RRBs sponsered by Syndicate Bank in the state of Karnataka. The bank performs its operations under Government of India. There are approximately 425 branches of the bank present in the nine districts. The bank also performs several other activities except the banking business such as conducting free health check up camps, running a free clinic at one of the villages in its area of operation, distributing in reielf camps and also providing electricity to villages.

1. Recruitment of Office Assistant (Multipurpose):

Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7200-19300 per month.

2. Recruitment of Officers (JMGS-I):
No. of posts: 55 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14500-25700 per month.

3. Recruitment of Officers (MMGS-II):
No. of posts: 26 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 19400-28100 per month.

4. Recruitment of Officers (MMGS-III):
No. of posts: 2 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25700-31500 per month.

Application Fee:

Rs. 200 is the application fee need to be submitted by the candidates belonging to the General category candidates. SC/ST/PC candidates are need to pay Rs. 50 as application fee. Candidates should pay this fee is the form of a Pay Order or Bank Order issued by a schedules bank payable at Dharwad. The Bank Draft is to be drawn in favour of Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank - Recruitment Project (2) 2009. Candidates must write his or her name and address on the back side of the draft.

Selection Process:

A written test is to be conducted by the Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank for all the above posts. The written test for the post of Officers will be held on 17 April 2011 and for the post of Office Assistant, written test will be held on 24 April 2011. Candidates are required to qualify in this written examination for getting selected.
