Pragathi Gramin Bank has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale-I) - Group ‘A’ and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank for the same are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale-I) - Group ‘A’

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 97, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as follows:

• SC – 14

• ST – 07

• OBC – 27

• General - 49

Out of the total 97 posts, 1 post each is reserved for Orthopedically Challenging, Visually challenging and Hearing impaired candidates.

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale-I) - Group ‘A’, will come under the pay scale of Rs. 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: Candidates must be degree holders in any discipline or its equivalent and preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Candidates must be proficient in Kannada language and only candidates with ability to speak, read and write in Kannada should apply. Desirable qualification in knowledge of computers.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 18-03-2012. Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.350, which is inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.50, which is postal charges alone. The fee should be paid through Challan form that can be obtained from the website of Pragathi Gramin Bank at http://pgbankho.in/ and the amount should be credited to Canara bank current account no. 0506201003871 and the candidates copy should be preserved for producing at the time of written exam.

How to apply:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://ibpsreg.sifyitest.com/pgbankjan12/ between 12th of January and 10th of February 2012. Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference and no other means of application will be accepted.
