The department includes 507 Ayurvedic/Unani dispensaries, 5 Ayurvedic Hospitals, 17 Ayurvedic Swasth Kendra’s, one Govt. Ayurvedic college, and 107 Homoeopathic dispensaries for the promotion of Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy (AYUSH).

The department also involves in research and manpower development for the health services of Punjab State. The department also includes Punjab health systems Corporation that was established under the Punjab Health Systems Corporation Act, 1996.

Job Profile:

Department of Health & Family Welfare Punjab invite application from eligible candidates for the post of Physiotherapist on contract basis for different health institutions/ offices.

No. of posts: 50 (Male candidates – 25, Female candidates -25)

Pay Scale – Consolidated salary of Rs. 15000

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 37 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have passed 10+2 (with Physics, chemistry, Biology and English subjects). They must have done Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from any recognized university or institution. They must have 3 yrs working experience as physiotherapist.
