Process & Product Development Centre was set up in the year 1985 at Agra. The centre was established with the aim of technological up gradation of small scalke castings and forging industries. The centre came into existence under the assitance of Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh and UNDP.UNIDO. The centre was converted into an autonomous body in the year 1986. A Governing council under the Chairmanship of AS & DC, manages the affaisr of the centre. The centre can be classified into four divisions i.e. Testing Division, Training, Concultancy and Product Development Division.

Job Profile:

Eligible and qualified candidates are invited to apply for filling up the vacant position of Principal Director in Process & Product Development Centre. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the specified position. Candidates will be recruited purely on contract basis initially for a period of five years. However, the further extension of the contract peiod will be based on the performance of candidates.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the posts of Principal Director in Process & Product Development Centre. The maximum age limit set for the post is 50 years as on the last date for the reciept of application. Candidates falling under Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe categories, will get relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit while OBC categories candidates will get relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:

The minimum educational qualification required for the post of Principal Director in Process & Product Development Centre is Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical or Production Engineering from a recognized institute or university or equivalent. However, candidates with Post Graduate Diploma in Foundry or Forging Technology, are desirable for the specified position. Minimum 15 years experience in the relevant field is also required alongwith the specified minimum educational qualification.
