Centre for Development of Advanced Computing was founded in the year 1984 as a research and development organization. The centre is a premier R&D organization of the Department of Information Technology. The centre comes under the control of Ministry of Communications & Information Technology. The centre mainly performs research and development activities in the fields of Information technology, Electronics etc. The centre was established in the year 1988. The main idea behind its establishment was to build supercomputers in context of import of supercomputers by USA.

Job Profile:

A scientific society named Centre for Development of Advanced Computing is recruiting suitable candidates for the position of Project Engineer. Candidates will be recruited on the specified position purely on contractual basis for a period of 2 years. All selected candidates will have to serve the CDAC at its Hyderabad centre.

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to have age below 30 years as on May 1, 2011. In case, interested candidates are having age more than 30 years, they should not apply for the post at all as their application will not be accepted by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing. There is relaxation provided in age to the reserved categories candidates. Reservation rules are applicable as per the Government of India norms.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess a First class B.E or B.Tech degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Electronics or Information Technology alongwith atleast 1 years of experience. Candidates possessing M.E. or M.Tech degree in Computer Science or Electronics or Information Technology, are desirable for the post. Candidates are also required to possess experience in JAVA, PHP, HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML and Database. Excellent programming skills, communication and presentation skills are desirable for the specified position.

No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 22500 per month will be given to the selecteed candidates. No other allowances will be provided to the candidates except this consolidated amount of salary.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test on the basis of the applications receieved from candidates. Only eligible candidates will be called for the written test. Shortlisted candidates of the written test will be called for the personal interview test. Candidates will have to bring original certificates and photocopies of the certiicates at the time of interview.
