The main idea behind its establishment was to build supercomputers in context of import of supercomputers by USA.

Job Profile:

Centre for Development of Advance Computing invites online applications from professional and experienced candidates for filling up the vacant posts of Project Engineer-I and Project Engineer-II in its Kolkata unit. Candidates will be recruited on the specified position in Centre for Development of Advance Computing purely on contract basis only.

Eligibility:

For the post of Project Engineer-I: Candidates are required to have less than 30 years.
For the post of Project Engineer-II: Candidates are required to have less than 35 years.

Reserved categories candidates may get relaxation of few years in the prescribed age limit set for both the posts.

Educational Qualification:

Project Engineer-I: Candidates should have done B.E. or B.Tech or MCA or M.Tech or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates, who have done DOEACC ‘B’ level are also eligible to apply for the post. The prescribed qualification must be done by the candidates in the disciplines of Computer/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Bio Medical Engineering or Medical Electronics. Atleast 2 year development experience in Mobile Application Development is desirable for the specified post.

Project Engineer-II: Candidates should have done B.E. or B.Tech or MCA or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should have acquired the prescribed degree in the disciplines of Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics Engineering. Also, candidates should have atleast 5 years experience in the relevant field. Candidates with experience in the field of Software Development, are desirable for this specified post.
