University Business School, Punjab University, is a well known business school of our country. The Institute is located in Chandigarh and Ludhiana. It offers a two year full time management degree in MBA, MBA (IB), MBA (Biotech), and MBA (HR).

The eligibility conditions for admission to the courses offered by UBS at both Chandigarh and Ludhiana (except MBA (Biotech)) are a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree from a recognized university, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates in their final year are also eligible to apply.

The eligibility criterion for admission to MBA (Biotech) at UBS, Chandigarh is a bachelors or masters degree in Biological Sciences.

The Institute considers the CAT conducted by the IIMs as the screening test. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT score for subsequent stages of selection. The next stage comprises of a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview. Admission to the institute is granted on the basis of overall performance in the screening test as well as GD and PI.

Candidates are required to apply for UBS separately. The applications forms can be downloaded from the website of the university or can be obtained in hand from the office of the university on payment of a certain fee.
