College of Military Engineering is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University. The college also provides various degree courses recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education to its students. The college performs all its working or functions under Government of India. The college was initially named School of Military Engineering but in the years 1951, its name was changed to College of Military Engineering. The college is best known for providing training, advisory, research and experimentation facilities. There is also an in-house printing press in the college.

College of Military Engineering is looking forward to recruit eligible Indian Nationals on the following vacant positions of Radio Mechanic, Draughtsman Mechanical and Laboratory Assistant (other then Tele). 1. Recruitment of Radio Mechanic:
Posts Available: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized university is required as the minimum educational qualification for this post. Candidates should also possess a certificate of Craftsmanship in the trade of Mechanic Radio and Television from ITI or its equivalent. Interested candidates should also have three years experience in the trade.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

2. Recruitment of Draughtsman Mechanical:
Posts Available: Only 7 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized university is required as the minimum educational qualification for this post. Candidates should also possess a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute with atleast 4 years experience in Mechanical Draughtsmanship in a Government office.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Laboratory Assistant:
Posts Available: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary with Science as a subject or its equivalent from a recognized university is required as the minimum educational qualification for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

Selection Process:

There are two different stages of the Selection Process, that are need to be qualified or successfully completed by the shortlisted candidates. Shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of their applications. The two stages of selection process are:

i. Written Test
ii. Personal Interview Test/Group Discussion
