Structure of Sardar Patel University Ph.D in Material Science Entrance Exam

The Ph.D Material Science examination conducted by the Sardar Patel University is divided into four sections. The first section consists of objective type questions of General Knowledge. The second section comprises of 15 multiple choice questions. Short answer questions of 20 marks make the third section. The last section has long answer questions of 15 marks. Thus the examination is carried out of a total of 60 marks with time duration of 2 hours. The result of the post graduation is also taken into account while ascertaining the rank of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to appear for the Ph.D Material Science entrance examination conducted by Sardar Patel University, a candidate should hold a master’s degree in the relevant subject from any of the recognized universities. They should also have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for the master’s degree examination.

How to Apply?

Candidates have to download the application forms from the University website. The filled up application forms should be submitted in Room no: 118 of the University Office along with application fees (Rs.300/-) and entrance test fees (Rs.350/-)

The candidate has to put a tick mark against the course that he/she wishes to apply. Fill the full name and address in the given appropriate space. Paste a recent photograph on the box provided for the same. The completed applications should be sent after attaching all the documents.
