Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) belongs to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The primary objectives of the SSB are to promote sense of security in the border area, to prevent trans border crimes and unauthorized entries into or exit from the territory of India, and to prevent smuggling and other illegal activities. Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible male Indian citizens, who fulfills all the eligibility conditions, for filling up the following positions of Sub Inspector, Head Constable and Constable in Sashastra Seema Bal. Candidates will be recruited in the below mentioned Group C non gazetted non ministerial combatised technical cadre posts.

1. Recruitment of Sub Inspector (Telecom):

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

2. Recruitment of Sub Inspector (Pioneer):

3. Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Telecom):

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

4. Recruitment of Head Constable (Electrician):

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

5. Recruitment of Head Constable (Workshop):
No. of posts: Only 58 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

6. Recruitment of Head Constable (Telecom):
No. of posts: Only 204 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

7. Recruitment of Constable (Telecom):
No. of posts: Only 84 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

8. Recruitment of Constable (Veterinary):
No. of posts: Only 12 posts are available.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

Application Fee:

General and OBC categories candidates are required to submit a non refundable application fee of Rs. 50. However, SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen will not have to submit any kind of application fee for applying for any of the specified posts. Candidates should submit this application fee through the means of a Bank Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of concerned authority.

How to apply: Eligible candidates are required to send the completely filled in application form and the other required enclosures to the below mentioned address on or before the last date for the reciept of application. The other required enclosures includes attested copies of certificates, passport size photographs and the requisite amount of demand draft. All the mentioned enclosures should reach before due date to the concerned authority.
