The Kannada Paper I of Matriculation Exam is a two and half hour paper with a total of 100 marks. It is difficult to find the Language Papers online unless someone has scanned and put them up. The best way to find a paper is to ask for it in the school library or collect it from someone willing to help out online.

With respect to the paper, the candidate has to compulsorily answer all the questions in a separate answer booklet. The student should read the questions thoroughly before answering them because a lot of internal choices are provided for each question.

There will be two sections in the paper. There are compulsory questions to be answered in each section. There will be no questions from outside the syllabus. The paper is mainly aimed to test the grammar and language skills while writing the paper. You should refrain from writing too long answers. Make sure to write answers according to the marks assigned to them. There are different kinds of objective type questions in the paper. There is no negative marking in the paper. There will be essays and letters of both formal and informal nature. The composition section mainly has alternatives.
