Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) was established as an autonomous organization under the Government of India. The centre came into existence as a result of the fund raised by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Centre also provide post graduation course in Life Sciences and is also recognized by the University of Hyderabad. The centre is well equipped with the computing infrastructure.

Job Profile:

Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics is making recuitment of eligible candidates for filling up the following positions of Technical Officer-I, Technical Officer-II and Technical Assistant. Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics is supposed to fill up the mentioned vacancies on purely contractual basis only for a period of siz months which can be extended further depending on the requirement.

1. Recruitment of Technical Officer-II:
Age Limit: Age should be between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Sc. or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 8 years of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

2. Recruitment of Technical Officer-I:
Age Limit: Age should be between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Sc. or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Technical Assistant:
Age Limit: Age should be between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess B.Sc. or B.Tech with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university. Candidates should also have atleast 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 100 is need to be submitted by the interested candidates (only General and OBC categories candidates) for applying on any of the specified post in Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics. The application fee must be paid through a demand draft drawn in favour of Director, CDFD only. SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of this application fee.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the desired post depending on his/her performance in the personal interview test that will be organized by Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics on a specified date.
