Structure of TU M Sc Admission Test

The selection of the candidates for the Master of Science Courses is on the basis of the score in the entrance test. The TERI University Master of Science Admission Test (TU M Sc Admission Test) is an online test. It consists of 100 objective type questions. The time allotted for the completion of the exam is one hour. The aim of the test is to evaluate the candidates’ awareness in English language usage, Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Each question is provided with four alternatives. The candidates have to choose the right answer. For each false answer, one mark is reduced. The candidates who clear the written test will be eligible for the admission for M Sc courses in TERI University.

Syllabus for TU M Sc Admission Test

The TERI University Admission Test is an online test consists of 100 questions. The questions in the test will be divided into three parts. Questions are expected from the topics given below.

• Proficiency in English
• Analytical reasoning
• Quantitative ability

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates have to fulfill certain eligibility conditions for joining the M Sc Programs. The candidates who have a Bachelors’ degree in Engineering/Mathematics/economics/Science/Statistics/geography with 6.75 Grade Average Point on a 10 point scale can apply for the test. The candidates should have 60% marks in all subjects in the final exam can only apply for the test. 5% relaxation of marks is offered for the candidates having degree in Commerce/Geography/Economics. Final year students can apply for the test. The candidates who possess all this conditions is eligible for attending the test.

How to Apply?

The University provides the facility for registering online for the exam at the website www.teriuniversity.ac.in. The payment of the application fee should be done by credit card or through a Demand Draft.  The details of the fee payment should be mentioned in the online registration form. The online exam fee is Rs.1200/-. Applications forms can be downloaded from the website. The print out of the application form should be filled completely and forwarded to the University Registrars Office accompanying with a Demand Draft of Rs.1450/- in the name of the Registrar, TERI University. Due to the unavailability of the application form, The candidates can send an requisition letter and a Demand Draft of Rs.1500/- to the Registrar for getting the application form by post.

How to fill the Form?

An information bulletin is getting with the application form. The candidates have to check and understand all the details provided in the bulletin. It helps them to fill the form without any mistake. All details provided in the form should be correct. Otherwise, it leads to the cancellation of the candidates’ chance for attending the exam. The details of the fee payment should be mentioned correctly. The Demand draft or Cheque in favor of The Registrar, TERI University should be sending with the application form. The candidates have to make sure that the application form will reach the concerned before the due date.
