Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Sainik School Balachadi
School profile: This school was started in the year 1965. It is a reputed school in Gujarat and also among all the sainik school in the country. It is an English medium school under the ministry of defence and it is also affiliated to CBSE. It has a good infrastructure and good teaching and recreation facilities.
Job profile: The teachers will be required to teach the students in mathematics, physics and chemistry branches. They will be required to impart high class education and knowledge to the students, clarify their concepts, inculcate the confidence and encourage them. They will also be responsible for helping them in their projects.
Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years. Relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must be a graduate in the relevant subject and must have the B.Ed degree from a recognized university or an institute. A candidate with a good academic record and with an active participation in sports and extra curricular activities will be given the preference. A candidate must also be adequate knowledge of computers.
No. of posts: There are 3 posts in total which consists of 1 post each in maths, physics and chemistry department.
Pay scale: The candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs18000 per month plus the other allowances as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will be called to appear for a written test followed by an interview for the qualifying candidates.
How to apply: The candidates can download the application form from the website. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs200 in the form of a DD of Rs200 drawn in the favor of Principal Sainik School Balachadi payable at any nationalized bank in Jamnagar. The candidates have to send the attested copies of mark sheets and other certificates and a self addressed envelope with the application. All the applications are to be sent to Principal Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar – 361230 (Gujarat)

Sir, i was really very sorry to get my name did not mention in the list of sending call letters(tgt math).before applying i ask that i did not get my B.Ed result still but they told u can apply.now you r saying u have not done BEd that’s why u did not get.i am going to get on 31st jan.plz rply.

This is Anant Parghi from Surat. I am working as a Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics at S V National Institute of Technology,Surat.I have some query regarding eligibility criteria for Sainik School Balachadi. My son date of birth is 9th sept. 1997 and write now he is studying in 7th standard in Gujarati medium. we are belongs to schedule caste. I want to get admission of my son in next academic year for 9th standard. My question is will he eligible for entrance examination for 9the standard. I have doubt in eligibility criteria for example this time For Class IX- Born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 1997 (Both days inclusive).
