Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT) was established in the year 2007. The institute is affiliated to the Tripura University and it serves as a leading institute of engineering and technical education in the city of Agartala.

Diploma Courses:

Diploma courses are available in various disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Technology, Food Processing Technology, Architectural Assistantship and Automobile Engineering.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

A candidate who have passed the 10+2 examination (in Science subjects) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks (40% marks for ST candidates) is eligible to apply for the B. Tech course. They must get qualified in the AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) / Tripura JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) in order to get admission in the B.Tech course.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary or Intermediate or equivalent examination (with Science subjects) are eligible to apply for the diploma courses in the institute. Admission is based on qualification in the Higher Secondary or Intermediate or equivalent examination.

Tripura Institute of Technology has state-of-the-art infrastructure with excellent facilities such as well-equipped and modern laboratories including computer laboratories, electronics and telecomm engineering lab, electrical and mechanical machine shops, engineering mechanics lab, physics lab, mechanical and chemistry workshops, internet laboratory, hardware lab, internet technology lab, AutoCAD lab, DBMS lab and programming lab.
