University of Kashmir offers educational courses in diverse areas of science, technology, and medicine. M.Sc in Botany Entrance Exam is carried out for the selection of candidates in to the merit seats. There exist only 40 merits seats in M.Sc Botany course (under University of Kashmir). These seats are filled on the basis of the marks of the entrance test and the qualifying examination passed.

Structure of University of Kashmir M.Sc in Botany Entrance Exam

There will be a total of 60 questions for M.Sc in Botany Entrance Exam carried out by the University of Kashmir. The question paper is of objective type. Each question carries one mark each and the total marks awarded for the examination is 60. There will be reduction of ¼ marks for each wrong answer where as one mark is awarded for each right one.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have completed bachelor degree in science are eligible to apply for the examination. The bachelor’s degree must be passed from a recognized educational institution with botany as one of the subjects.

How to Apply?

The application forms can be purchased from the office of the University of Kashmir. This can also be collected from the official web portal of the University. The aspirant should pay an amount of Rs. 250/- for collecting the application form. The fee must be paid directly at the Accounts Section of the University at times of collecting the application form. The application form can also be collected from the University website. In such case, the candidate should pay the application in the form of demand draft. The DD must be taken in favor of University of Kashmir. The DD along with the application form must be sent to the official address of the University before last date.
