The University of Kerala offers the course of B.H.M.S. There are about nine papers in the fourth year of the course and the names of each of them are:

•    PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – I)
•    PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – II)
•    PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – III)
•    HOMOEOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA (Paper – I)
•    HOMOEOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA Paper – II
•    ORGANON OF MEDICINE, PRINCIPLES OF HOMOEOPATHIC PHILOSOPHY (Paper – I)
•    ORGANON OF MEDICINE, PRINCIPLES OF HOMOEOPATHIC PHILOSOPHY (Paper – II)
•    CASE TAKING AND REPERTORY (2003 Admns)
•    COMMUNITY MEDICINE

Each of the papers carries a maximum of one hundred marks and has duration of three hours. Each of the paper is divided into two sections namely, Section A and Section B. Each of the section has a maximum of fifty marks and contains around two main questions. The first main question of each of the section is a Long answer types or essay type question and is divided into three sub-questions, each carrying a maximum of five marks. The second main question of each of the Section is further sub-divided into seven sub-questions, each having a maximum of five marks.
