The University of Kerala offers the course of B.H.M.S. There are about eight papers in the third year of the course and the names of each of them are:

•    HOMOEOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA
•    ORGANON OF MEDICINE AND PRINCIPLES OF HOMOEOPATHIC PHILOSOPHY
•    SURGERY INCLUDING ENT, OPHTHALMOLOGY, DENTAL AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS Paper I
•    SURGERY INCLUDING ENT, OPHTHALMOLOGY, DENTAL AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – II)
•    SURGERY INCLUDING ENT, OPHTHALMOLOGY, DENTAL AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – III)
•    OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, INFANT CARE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – I)
•    OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, INFANT CARE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – II)
•    OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, INFANT CARE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS (Paper – III)

Each of the paper has a maximum of one hundred marks and offers duration of three hours. There are two sections in each of the question paper, namely Section A and Section B. Each of the sections consists of fifty marks and has three main questions. The first main questions in both of the sections are Short Answer Types. The second main question is further sub-divided into two Long answer questions, each having a maximum of ten marks. The last question is also a short answer based.
