Semester 4 Papers under the course of MCA, Master in Computer Applications are conducted by the University of Kerala in order to promote candidates from 04th Semester. The examination is a normal test carried out by the University as a part of its course in written format. There are about nineteen papers and each carries a total of one hundred marks. Thus the total marks in the fourth Semester stands to nineteen hundred. The subjects associated primarily covers the core based concepts.

The question from these papers are both numerical based as well as theoretical based and comes with a similar based pattern every year. The University every academic year opts to define a well stated and mot updated MCA based syllabus to the candidates. Each of the nineteen papers has a different format and it is important to be thorough with the format before the exam itself. There are a total of six elective papers offered and the question from each of the papers are of five marks usually and do not exceed a maximum of fifteen. There are both internal choices as well as must attempt compulsory questions in the papers.
