The current name of Vijayanagar Institute of Management is Allum Karibasappa Institute of Management and this institute came into existence in the year 1988. The institute is running under the aegis of Veerashiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha belonging to Bellary and it was established with the objective of offering quality management education. The institute is acting as a centre for higher learning in Bellary with an international standard of education.

Course details:

As the name of the institute implies, it is offering education in the management faculty and the only course offered by the institute is Master of Business Administration. The duration of this course is two years and it is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India and All India Council of Technical Education. This course offered by the institute is affiliated to the Gulbarga University.

Eligibility requirement:

For seeking admission to the Master of Business Administration course offered by the institute, candidates must be graduates in arts/commerce/science/business management/computer applications/medicine/engineering, etc… with not less than 50% of marks (45% in the case of SC/ST and Category I candidates).

Mode of admission:

The sanctioned intake capacity of Vijayanagar Institute of Management is 60 students and out of this 30 seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET examination conducted by the Visveswaraiah Technological University and remaining 30 seats are management quota seats for which admission is done based on K-MAT examination, which is conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate College Association.

Fee structure:

The institute presently charges a total fee of Rs.63000 for the first and second semester and Rs. 56000 for the third and fourth semester respectively. However, this fee structure is subject to change.
