Venkateshwar Vidyapeet was established in the year 2009.This is situated in the village called Dhillo-Kumarhatti which is 15 km from the district Head quarters Solan. Vidyapeet offers undergraduate courses in Business Administration and Computer Applications. This college was mainly established by the Venkateshwar Shiksha Samiti with the aim of empowerment of better education in India.

The College has all the rooms well furnished and is surrounded by beautiful lawns that gives a peaceful atmosphere. The whole of the campus is in the area of two acres of land in picture square surroundings that has beautiful valleys that will give a feel of being close to the nature.

Faculty:

Well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members are present who are very sincere to the profession. The provision of different academic courses that is coupled with the special professional education in the North had led to increase in the number of applicants. The main focus is on the environment friendly campus that will help in the enthusiastic approach by the faculty, students and the visitors in equal manner.

Eligibility:

For the application to the B.Ed the candidate should have passed any stream of graduation course. For the entry into the Bachelor of Business Administration and for Bachelor of Computer Education the applicant should have passed the 10+2 examination that is recognized by the board in any stream. The candidates need to have 50% of marks for general Category and 45% of marks for the reserved category.

Transport Facility:

The college has a very good transport system where there are Bus services from all points in the vicinity to make the members reach the destination safely.

Library:

A well library room has a place in this college. Apart from the huge collection of books the library also has a special reading room that helps in attaining the required knowledge at that point of time .There are various Journals and Magazines that are of general interest present in the library.

Other Facilities:

A good computer Lab that has well furnished desktops that is based on the latest technologies and other accessories that include digital cameras, web cameras, scanners, digital printers etc are available in this advanced lab. A well equipped laboratory that has the advanced apparatus and equipments are also present. There are Audio/ video rooms that help in the modern trends of education. There is also a common room and Conference hall. A special place for the sports room and recreational purpose is also built in this campus. A very good Hostel facility is also available for boys and girls.
