Mahendragarh is a municipal committee and town in the district of Mahendragarh in the Indian state of Haryana. The town is located at an average elevation of 262 meters at 28.28oN 76.15oE. It is bounded on the west by the Jhunjhunu and Sikar Districts of the state of Rajasthan, in the south by Sikar, Jaipur and Alwar Districts of the state of Rajasthan, in the east by the Alwar and Rewari Districts of the state of Rajasthan and by the Bhiwani and Rohtak Districts to the north. The town has two tehsils namely Mahendergarh and Narnaul.
