Company Profile: West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited is a completely Government owned company that is engaged in Hydra Electric generation, its distribution as well as transmission. Throughout the state of West Bengal and has an annual turnover of Rs. 8, 000 crore and a total recruited strength of over 23, 000. The company has been involved in new form of electric generation beside from the core based coal method of production.
Job Profile: The post that the company is offering to the interested candidates is that of assistant. The candidates are expected to assist different project work as well as its aspects through the help of computer proficiency. There are official works too, that the candidates are expected to fulfill.
No. of Posts: There are 530 number of post that is to be recruited for the post pf assistant. 500 are to be recruited by West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited and 30 by the West Bengal State Electricity transmission Company Limited.
Salary: The candidates that will be recruited will be awarded a decent salary of over Rs. 14, 000 per month. The scale of the pay is Rs. 6, 300/- to Rs. 20, 200/- + Grade scale Rs. 2, 600/-.
Selection Procedure: There will be a written entrance test upon the basis of which the candidates will be recruited. The test will also contain computer proficiency test and interviews.
