Naval College of Engineering, Lonavala, Pune
The Naval College of Engineering set up in the year 1997, located in INS Shivaji is a college with a navy background. The college is a defense academy and is run by the central government. It is affiliated to the Jawarhar Lal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Courses Offered
The college offers undergraduate programs in the engineering discipline in the following disciplines having the intake capacity mentioned beside it such as Electrical Engineering having 90 seats and Mechanical Engineering also having 90 seats. All the courses taught in the college have AICTE approval.
Placements
A candidate after passing out gets placed in an INS ship only and is further trained and if a student leaves the college he/she gets placed in the best in the business companies.
Infrastructure
The college is situated 8 km from Lonavala town. The college provides accommodation to the officers in officer’s mess according to their ranks. The college has an inbuilt swimming pool and facilities for indoor/outdoor games. The college also has a sickbay located within the establishment. The college has a well stacked library.
Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria
Any candidate at first need to take a written examination and after shortlisted in this have to undergo SSB Interview and personality test to finally get the admission.
The candidate at the time of admission should be minimum 161/2 years and maximum 19 years old. The minimum score in the PCM combination at the HS level is 70% and 55% in English. The candidate should be single too.

I am to appear at the +2 Science Examination in the month of March 2014 and the results will be out in the month of May2014.
