Adam Smith Institute of Management (ASIM) offers an admission to the candidates who are interested in undertaking the admission in the two year based Post Graduate level course of Business Administrations. The Institute shortlists the candidates through a thorough assessment of the marks individual applicant obtain in exams such as CAT/GMAT/IBSAT or ASMAT, a written entrance test conducted by the Institute itself. Thus in order to attain admission in the following course, the candidates has to appear in any of the three tests or the entrance test conducted by the Adam Smith Institute of Management (ASIM). The candidates who are selected through assessment are then called for second round of selection. This includes Micro-Presentation and Personal Interview. The Institute assesses the marks obtained in all the stages and are then selected finally.

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have a 3 years bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institute with atleast 50% aggregate marks. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

The forms for ASIM will be available directly as well as by post from the ASIM campuses. To obtain the form by post candidates have to send a request for the form along with a demand draft to ASIM, Hyderabad. Candidates can also apply online or download the form through the website www.asmat.in.

Important Dates:

Last date for receipt of completed ASIM’s Application Form: January last week, 2011

Date of ASMAT Entrance Examination: 3rd week of February, 2011

Micro Presentation & Personal Interviews: last week of March – 2nd week of April, 2011

Selection process:

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their GMAT/CAT/IBSAT/ASMAT scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Personal Interview & Micro Presentation after which the final selections are made.
