Profile:

Bureau of Civil Aviation Security came into existence in the year 1978 as a cell in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The bureau was established on the recommendation of the Pande Committee which was constituted after the Indian Airlines Flight was hijacked on September 10, 1976. The major objective of the cell is to monitor and inspect personnel in Civil Aviation Security matters.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Joint Commissioner of Security (Civil Aviation) in Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 56 years of age as on closing date of application.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should hold an analogous post of regular basis in the parent cadre or department with an experience of atleast two years regular service.
