IIIT Bhubaneswar is amongst the premier educational institutes in Orissa and owes its origins to the initiative of the Government Orissa. It started its journey with a mission to impart technical education to the students and also give a complete platform to build their career under various companies. The Institute has been registered as a society in 2006. The institute administration is in the hands of a Governing Body, consisting of representatives from the Government of Orissa, Leaders from the IT industry and eminent educationists.

Infrastructure:

The institute campus is spread over an area of 24 acres at Gothapatna and has very nice conditions for learning. The campus is well equipped with up to date library, labs, class rooms and workshop. It also provides excellent faculty members who help to distribute all sorts of study materials to the students.

Courses Offered:

The institute offers B.Tech programs in the disciplines like Computer Science and Engineering (60), Information Technology (60), Electronics and Communication (60), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (60) and M.Tech. programme in computer science & Engineering.

Admission Procedure:

Seats are filled through various engineering entrance examinations like OJEE, AIEEE, etc. The students have to pass 10+2 with maths, physics and chemistry. IIIT Bhubaneswar conducts its own entrance examination in various centers of India for admission into its M.Tech programme.

Placement:

IIIT Bhubaneswar offers on campus placement facility in various reputed firms of India. The institute conducts special training programs for the students.
