Pattern of TANCET:
MCA:
The entrance examination test is in four sections- Quantitative ability, Analytical reasoning, Logical reasoning, and Computer awareness. Questions related to basic science and verbal activity could also be expected.
M.E/M. Tech:
The exam usually includes questions from mathematics, basic engineering and science and area the aspirant desires to specialize in.
MBA:
It is of five sections - English (Grammar, Punctuation etc), data interpretation, mathematics, comprehension skills.
MBA/MCA:
The question paper consists of 100 multiple-choice objective questions.
Eligibility for TANCET:
For MBA:
The candidates, who possess Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in 10+2+3/4 pattern or 10+3 (Diploma) + 3 patterns from a recognized university, are eligible.
For MCA:
The candidate should have completed graduation in any field with mathematics as a subject of study at 10+2 level. The candidates, who have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s level, are also eligible.
For M.E. /M. Tech/M. Arch. /M. Planning:
The candidates with Bachelor’s degree in their respective field that is B.E. /B. Tech/B. Arch/B. Planning are eligible.The candidates who are waiting for their result of the final examination or who are appearing in the final year or semester of qualifying examination can also apply.
