Statistical Assistant, Block Health Statistician, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission
Profile:
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission was established under the Government of India. The commission was founded under the Articles of Constitution of India. The commission is responsible for making direct recruitment on subordinate and ministerial positions in the state of Tamil Nadu. The commission conducts competitive written examination for making recuitment on various government posts.
Job Profile:
Several posts on the positions of Statistical Assistant and Block Health Statistician are available in Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. Candidates can apply for only one post as per their interest.
Eligibility:
For both the posts of Statistical Assistant and Block Health Statistician, age limit set is between 18 to 30 years as on 1 July 2010.
Educational Qualification:
Only candidates with atleast graduation as their educational qualification, should apply for the post. Graduation is the minimum educational qualification set for both the posts.
No. of posts:
Statistical Assistant: Only 12 posts are availbale.
Block Health Statistician: Only 49 posts are availbale.
Pay Scale:
Statistical Assistant: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4300.
Block Health Statistician: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4300.
Selection Process:
The written test for the post of Statistical Assistant is 26 February 2011 and the written tes for the post of Block Health Statistician is 27 February 2011. After qualifying in the written test, candidates will have to face a interview test also.
How to apply: OMR application forms are available at the post offices in the state of Tamil Nadu and on the TNPSC website. The filled in application form then should be mailed (via registered post or speed post) to the address:
