How to Prepare for Cochin University CUSAT CAT?
The CUSAT is one of the most renowned Institutes of Cochin that offers a variety of professional degree courses. This Institute is accepted by Government of India and it is put together for education development of the society. The courses offered by this university are B. TECH, MSC, LLM, MBA, MCA, etc. The candidates have to appear for CAT exam conducted by this institute and they must be an Indian. The candidates should have done higher secondary exam from the recognized board or university. They should have minimum of 50% marks in PCM. The Online CAT exam will be held on last week of November.
Structure of the Exam
The entrance exam has around 125 objective type questions. The questions are from physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects.
Syllabus of the Exam
The physics subject covers the syllabus of preface and dimension, motion, different dimension, electrostatics, waves, magnetism, electricity etc. The chemistry subject covers the syllabus from p block elements, cluster wise study of elements, Hydrocarbons, etc. The mathematics subject covers the syllabus of sets, relations and functions, complex numbers and quadratic equations, determinants, mathematical induction, sequences and series, geometry etc. The candidate should study these portions thoroughly. They can follow their class notes and text book. The candidate will get objective type questions with multiple choices. They have to select the right answer from these choices.
The candidate can use NCERT guide for reference. This book contains lots of objective type questions and model question papers. The candidate should allot time for each subject and complete the portions thoroughly without anything left. For mathematics subject, they have to memorize formulas and important points. They should know all methods and techniques clearly. They have to practice all problems. For chemistry and physics subjects, they have to study all equations. You may get simple problems in these subjects. They have to utilize their time by practicing sample question papers and go through previous year question papers. Time management is very important for preparing and writing the exam.
