Economics is considered as a discipline of Social Science. A specialist of this stream is called as an Economist. Economists generally examine, create and apply theories as well as concepts from economics. They also write about the varied policies of Economics. Qualifying Exam

Who is eligible to apply?

The basic qualification a person needs in order to become an Economist is a graduate degree in the allied field. While pursuing this field, a person will come to have more knowledge about economics, calculus and accounting in addition to statistics. After finishing this course, students of Economics can either go for higher studies or get employed with pioneer firms. A postgraduate degree in Economics will enable the student to get more knowledge about econometrics and international economics I addition to labor economics. The conclusion of this program will aid the student to find jobs with either the public or the private sectors. It is also possible for candidates to go for research.

How to prepare for the exam and interview?

Individual can prepare for the exam by reading vastly on the subject. As there are many specializations available in the field of economics, aspirants will be able to fine many types of literature on the subject. Also, browsing the internet will help them to gather more detail information on the subject. At the time of the interview, the candidates must be prepared to answer questions without showing any uncertainty.
